FOSTER CATS

Foster families provide a loving and restful haven while our animals look for their furever home.

Our foster families help save lives by providing a temporary home. As a foster, you free a kennel for another animal in need, provide valuable information to find the perfect family and give an animal a much-needed break. You will also become a vital part of our fight against the euthanasia of adoptable animals. Brown County offers all necessary medication, food and supplies so there is no cost to you! All we need you to offer, is love and compassion.

For our small animal adoption center (cat shelter), our kittens must be in foster homes until they are ready for adoption at 8 weeks of age. We also have adult cats that would love to cuddle with you while they wait for adoption. We are only able to save cats, kittens and pregnant cats with the help of dedicated fosters!

You can submit an application to foster cats online, or you can download and print the application.
