We understand that sometimes the only thing standing between a pet being surrendered to the shelter from a loving home is a temporary need for pet food.
It is not uncommon to hear of loving pet owners struggling financially who choose to go without themselves to avoid surrendering their pet to the shelter. We have established a Pet Food Pantry to ease this burden on pet owners facing temporary hardships so that they can keep their pets at home, where they are loved, and out of the shelters.
Please contact either the Brown County Animal Shelter (for dogs) or the Small Animal Adoption Center (for cats and kittens) for additional information.
