Low Cost

VET SERVICES

Making sure that your pet is spayed or neutered and providing regular veterinary care is an important part of being a responsible pet owner.

There are many programs that provide assistance. In addition to the Brown County SNAP (Spay and Neuter Assistance Program), the following resources are available to Brown County residents:

LEAGUE FOR ANIMAL WELFARE:

League for Animal Welfare assists with Spay and Neuter. The League for Animal Welfare is a dedicated advocate for spaying and neutering pets in the Greater Cincinnati community. The League has a Spay/Neuter Voucher Program that issues vouchers which assist with the cost of surgery, with pet owners contributing the balance.

Spay/neuter vouchers are accepted at many local veterinary clinics.  To obtain additional information about the program or to request a voucher, contact The League for Animal Welfare directly at, call 513-735-2299.

UCAN

UCAN offers high-quality veterinarian services including spay/neuters and wellness vet care for dogs and cats at affordable costs.

They are often able to provide spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations to feral (trapped) cats for FREE (depending on current grant funding). Check out the details for trapped cats here.
