FOUND ANIMALS

Every year we are able to successfully reunite over 100 animals with their owners. Matching up lost pets with the people who love them is one of the important missions of the Brown County Humane Society.

Stray animals found in Brown County either by a member of the public or the Dog Warden will be held by the Brown County Dog Shelter for a minimum of 72 hours. You can see stray animals brought into Brown County Dog Shelter and the Brown County Small Animal Adoption Center here:

We post stray animals on our social media (Facebook) page. We recommend that you check that site frequently.

**If you recognize your missing pet, please contact us right away to let us know the animal has an owner and so that we can make arrangements for you to redeem your pet.

If you do not see your missing pet, check back daily to see any new stray animals listed. You can also contact us and provide information and a photo so that we can do a courtesy post on our social media page. Visit our page “Help, I Lost My Pet” for additional tips on locating your animal.
